Prayer For Dad From Daughter

If your dad means the world to you, it’s important to pray for him regularly. These prayers for dad from daughter can serve as a helpful resource for you.

A father’s role in a child’s life is irreplaceable. Kids look up to their dads or father figures to provide a sense of security, encouragement and support. Dads have influence on their sons and daughters in many profound ways.

A relationship between dad and son is different from dad and daughter because both genders need different things from their dad. Fathers and daughters usually have a strong bond. That’s why women mostly fall in love with men similar to their dad or father figure.

So if you have a good relationship with your dad, lifting him up to God is the least you can do to show your appreciation and love for him. Besides, praying for him in both joyful and hard seasons can bring both of you closer to God and each other.

Gratitude Prayer

Heavenly and merciful Father, I thank You for blessing me with such a wonderful and caring dad. I’m truly honored and proud to be his daughter. He’s a pillar in my life and sometimes I lack words to appreciate all the things he has done in my life. He showed my sibling(s)  and I how much he loves and values us. He taught us the importance of self-discipline and self-esteem in today’s cruel world. He nurtured me to be a strong, confident and independent woman. I’ll be forever grateful for that. His teachings and support has definitely shaped the woman I am today.

This incredible man I call my dad has always been there for me when I need him most and not once has he ever complained about me being too overbearing. When I’m down and feel beat, he lifts me up. When I need a shoulder to cry on, he’s there. He’s indeed a good father. I cannot repay the sacrifices he made to provide a stable foundation for my sibling(s) and I. Lord I ask You to bless him abundantly. May he be a blessing to anyone he interacts with. I pray that You fulfill all the desires of his heart because I don’t think there’s any person that deserves it more. Thank You God for I trust that You will answer my prayer. Amen.

Prayer for Dad Protection

Gracious Lord, I lift up my dad to You. I ask You to surround him with Your divine hedge of protection. Cover him with Your precious blood and send Your angels to watch over his every step. I beseech You to protect him from harm and the cruelty of the world. Watch his going in and coming out. Keep him away from people and situations that may bring him harm. Please grant him courage and strength in abundance to overcome any adversity. Give him Your heavenly wisdom to always handle situations in a way that will bring glory to Your name.

Mighty Jesus, please protect his mind and soul. Don’t let daily life stresses get to him. Conquer his mind with Your everlasting peace. Remind him that he can always take refuge in You when he’s going through difficult times in life. Help him to always trust in Your power and the plans You have for his life. May he look to You first for help. Thank You God for Your compassion and mercies. You alone are worthy. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Dad to Stay Healthy and Have a Long Life

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and mercy over my dad’s life. Thank You that Your great love and blessing has no end. You’ve walked with him from the time he was born up to now. I ask You to continue protecting him from anything that would compromise his health. Cover him with Your armor that no illness will come near him.

As he grows older, let him prioritize his health by sticking to a healthy diet and workout routine. Protect him from unhealthy habits that intend to harm his body and mind. I want to see him fit as a fiddle for years to come. Please guide his actions and thoughts. Help him to walk away from risky circumstances that may put him in danger. Give him wisdom to know when his body needs rest because sometimes he works way too much. Shower him with peace of mind that only You can provide. May You spare him to us for years and years so we may continue to create new memories. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Dad’s Happiness

Dear God, giver of all good things, I ask You to fill my dad’s life with happiness beyond measure. If there’s anyone who deserves all the happiness in the world, is this incredible man. Help him find joy and happiness in his work place, home and his daily life, too.  Allow him to discover small things or activities that will add more value and happiness into his life. Teach him not to worry about tomorrow or things he has no control over. But rather cast them onto You because You care.

Help him to focus on the present and the many blessings You’ve bestowed in his life. My dad can be too uptight sometimes, so Lord help him to be more open and receptive to fun ideas. Give him all the reasons to live his life to the fullest and enjoy every moment. Fill his cup to the brim so he may never have a dull moment in his life. Guard his heart and mind so nothing steals his joy. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Dad Who is Sick

Lord Jesus, I pray that You surround my ailing dad with Your miraculous and restorative hand. Please give him a second chance in life and restore his health. Fix what is broken in him because there is no disease in this world You cannot heal if it is Your will. Bless him with Your loving care and let Your unconditional love be his comfort.

My dad is so precious to us, please make him whole and well again. We long to see him smile again. I would do almost anything to see it happen. Lord, please give him strength to overcome this battle and faith to walk in victory. Through Your son Jesus Christ, I pray and believe. Amen.
