Thank you that you gave me the gift of a caring mother and that she was present throughout my life until the time when you decided that you wanted her back with you.

Heavenly Father, the death of my mother was truly devastating to me. I am always in pain when I grieve her. I pray that you bring me comfort. May I find solace in the fact that she is now in a better place, free of sorrow, suffering and pain. May I be comforted that she dwells with you in heaven. Be with me my Lord, act as my mother and let me find comfort in your loving arms.
When I got the devastating news that my mother had died, I could not believe it. Up till now I find it hard to come to terms with the fact that she’s no more. I hope that one day I would wake up and realize that it was just a bad dream. Every time there is a knock on the door, I rush to open with the hope that she would be the one. Prayer for Healing and Strength
Almighty God, Father of orphans, I pray for divine healing and the strength to move on. I come to you during this time of mourning, I surrender my feelings, emotions and most especially my heart to you. I have a heart ache and I have no clue of the medicine that can cure it aside from you my God. Let me draw strength from you. Teach me to accept this path that even me will take when my time comes. When I feel lonely, let me find solace in Your Holy Book in John14:18.
It was so hard for me to accept my loss. I was mad at my mother for leaving me this early. I was angry at myself for all the things I was not able to fulfill for her. I questioned You when you took her away. I had made a lot of promises to her, to give her a better life. I was not able to fulfill them to her and therefore it is hard to forgive myself for that. Please forgive me Lord for questioning your will. I forgive my mother and myself for feeling that she left me soon and that I wasn’t able to fulfill my dreams and aspirations for her. Heal my heart Lord and give me the strength to accept your will, move on with my life and have have peace with myself and in my heart.

Jesus my savior, in your death you opened a gateway to eternal life. Look kindly on my mother who passed away. Unite her with your passion and death, and saved by the blood you shed, may she come before you with confidence so that she would rest in peace. Have mercy on her and accept her in your presence. Open your hands wide open and welcome her into your home that is rich in happiness, peace and all the good things.
