The history of the Bible and how it came together is complicated. It consists of multiple books by multiple authors. Some of these books were written hundreds of years apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how can we be sure that the Bible is true, and not just a collection of stories and myths?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some Christians might say, \u2018it\u2019s the Bible, so it must be true\u2019<\/em>, or \u2018we know it\u2019s true by faith\u2019<\/em>. Others will point to 2 Timothy 3:16<\/a> to show that all scripture is inspired by God (God-breathed, as the verse says).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While these are good reasons to believe the Bible is true, they are not very convincing especially when talking to non-believers or Christians who are young in their faith.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
