King of Kings, thank you for Your amazing love and grace. Thank You for always being there for me when I need You. Thank You for never giving up on me even when I turn my back on You and Your word. Dear Lord, You’re the only one who knows and understands me better than anyone else. You know and see the struggles that I’m going through because of my skin. The countless skin care & cosmetic products, natural remedies I’ve bought plus the skin care routines, diet I’ve followed religiously from various professionals and beauty gurus. Nothing seems to work at the moment and my skin condition is even getting worse. This is really tearing me apart. I know getting a clear skin takes time, but I’m on the brink of giving up.
I need You Lord now more than ever. I surrender all my skin problems onto Your capable hands. Touch me with Your healing hand because with You all things are possible. Mend what is broken under my skin. Remove any bacteria, dead skin, infection, irritation or whatever is causing my skin to breakout or not clear up. Soothe my skin with Your miracle working hands. Restore any damaged cell in my skin and entire body.

Tender and compassionate Father, thank You for Your marvelous deeds. You knew me before I was conceived in my mother’s womb. You know how many hairs are on my head, how my life will pan out here on earth, when I will die, my likes/dislikes, my personality and every little detail about me. You also know how my confidence and self-esteem has shrunk over the years. This skin problem has made me retreat into my shell and I’m no longer interested in the things I used to love and enjoy.
I feel helpless and the worst thing is that I’ve tried almost everything, and nothing seems to work; some even make the condition worse. Social anxiety is now part of me because I feel everyone is judging me for how I look. I know I’m Your wonderful masterpiece and shouldn’t worry about my looks, but it has become a constant struggle. More often than not I find myself envying those with clear, radiant skin. But Lord, I’m tired of living this way.
Help me to view myself the way you see me – Your perfect creation and You don’t make mistakes. Let me feel Your presence in my everyday life. Remind me of Your goodness and unconditional love when I’m tempted to condemn myself. Give me grace to only see the good in me and appreciate who l am. I’m Your child and You will never leave or forsake me. Help me not to dwell on how l look or how others perceive me, but rather concentrate on You and Your purpose for my life. Work through me so that l can bring glory to Your name in whatever l do. Give me courage to walk in the plans You have for me. When anxiety and self doubt creep in, remind me I’m beautiful, complete, valuable and Your most prized possession. I ask this in Your holy name. Amen.

Dear God, I know getting a clear skin doesn’t happen overnight. But it’s so hard to be patient sometimes. I long to have a clear skin and go back to doing things that I used to love. I long for peace and restful nights. So I come before Your throne to ask that You fill me with Your spiritual fruit of patience. Teach me to understand the virtue of patience when plagued with frustrations.
Your word says that You are good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for You. Lord, help me to be patient as I wait for You. I know in Your own time, You will make me smile again. Give me strength and courage to accept Your will in my life with a calm soul and peace not to worry about it. Help me to focus on Your plans and live by them just like Joshua. Give me a thick skin when stared at or people talk negatively about my looks. Guide my paths and help me walk in Your glorious light. May Your goodness and faithfulness build my foundation of faith in You.
Help me to never rely on my own imperfect and frail mind, but to trust You with all my heart in every situation and season of my life. My hope rests in You and You alone loving God. Help me to remain faithful even when things don’t go as expected. I’m Your precious child and I know You love me just the way I am despite what I think or feel.
